Ikusasa, 7 Parks Boulevard: Setting the tone for a sustainable future

The most recently completed building in the mixed-use Oxford Parks precinct is 7 Parks Boulevard, located at the corner of Eastwood Road in Dunkeld. The Ikusasa Building (the Zulu word for ‘future’), developed by Intaprop, received a 6-star Green Star Office v1.1. Design certification in July and is targeting the As Built and Interiors certifications as well as a Net Zero Level 1 certification.

Motswere Prime Plaza II, an A-grade office space with a total floor area of 2,780m², is the first phase of the upcoming Prime Plaza II development in Botswana. Named after the stunning Leadwood Combretum trees that will inhabit the site, the building achieved its 5-Star Green Star Office Design v1.1 rating in May 2021.

In early 2019, KFC Newmarket achieved a prestigious LEED certification under the LEED 2009 for Retail – New Construction tool. This project was used as a test case project to update the baseline specification for all KFC branches. The LEED certification process was undertaken by Solid Green Consulting.

The 4 Stan Road development – this boutique office development in the heart of Sandton recently received an award plaque for its 4-star Green Star SA Office v1 Design certification. The building has two distinct aspects: the façade facing Stan Road and a north-facing façade which is a fully glazed unitised performance façade.
