Anglo American Reinvention
Solid Green was part of the team that won the Anglo American Reinvention architectural competition. The team consisting of Kate Otten Architects and Mashabane Rose Associates, ARUP, and Davis Langdon. The winning design was presented to the judges in August 2011.
7Anglo American Reinvention Competition
As part of the design philosophy all buildings are to be certified under the Green Star SA rating system. Green features included in the design are optimisation of daylight penetration, ground source heat pump using geothermal energy, radiant cooling strategies, mixed mode HVAC system, rainwater harvesting and location within the inner city.
