First Green Star MUR certification in SA
40-on-Oak has received the first Green Star SA Multi-Unit Residential certification in South Africa. 40-on-Oak, located within the Melrose Arch precinct in Johanneburg, was one of six projects that were registered for the Multi-Unit Residential (MUR) PILOT programme run by the GBCSA.
7Solid Green Consulting was appointed to manage the Green Star process for the development and successfully achieved the first Green Star SA MUR certification. 40-on-Oak was the only PILOT project to achieve certification. The Green Star SA MUR v1 will be launched at the GBCSA Convention in October 2011.
