In August 2020, Lakeview Phase II Office Park in Roodepoort, Gauteng, received its 5 Star – Green Star SA Office v1.1 As-Built rating. Developed by Abland for Nedbank, the development is recognised as having reached ‘Excellence’ through this commendable achievement in sustainability.

Menlyn Central adds to Menlyn Maine’s offerings
Menlyn Central, situated opposite the bustling shopping node of Menlyn Maine precinct, received a 4-Star Green Star Office v1.1 Design certification in February 2020. The development broke ground in May 2018, and completion is scheduled for March 2020.

Sandton Gate achieves 4-Star Sustainable Precincts certification!
Sandton Gate, located in South Africa’s economic powerhouse, has been awarded a 4-star certification under the Green Star SA Sustainable Precincts v1.1 tool, following the project’s second-round submission in mid-August. Phase 1 of the development achieved a 5-Star Green Star SA Office v1.1 Design certification in July 2019.

Iconic 35 Lower Long gets 4 Stars
The new 35 Lower Long is an elegant 24-storey tower designed by DHK Architects and developed by owners, Abland and Ellerine Bros, on Cape Town’s Foreshore precinct. With Solid Green as sustainability consultants, the project received a 4-star Green Star Design certification after Round 1 in December 2018.

Alice Lane: Sustainability at its Core
The Alice Lane precinct in the heart of the Sandton CBD comprises three Green Star SA certified buildings around a central open piazza that brings a new dimension of pedestrian interaction to the area. Solid Green was the green building consultant on all three buildings.
