Nedbank Head Office Campus leads the way to building excellence in Namibia
The Nedbank Head Office Campus in Windhoek has been awarded a 6-star New Build Office As-built rating by the Green Building Council South Africa, making it the first 6-star building in Namibia to receive this certification and ‘World Leadership Excellence’ status in environmentally sustainable building practices.

Ballito Hills Lifestyle Centre certifications
Ballito Hills Lifestyle Centre, developed by Balwin Properties, achieved a 6-Star Green Star Public & Education Building (PEB) certification in April this year. Part of the upmarket Ballito Hills Lifestyle estate, the building also achieved a Net Zero Carbon Level 1 rating in March – with both certifications undertaken by Solid Green.

Boutique Hotel targets Net Zero Carbon
Hotel Nieu, an upmarket off-the-grid boutique hotel on the corner of Cameron and Marais streets in Nieu Muckleneuk, Pretoria, was born out of a desire to create intentional urban communities. The project is aiming to achieve a Net Zero Carbon rating through the Green Building Council South Africa.

Iconic 35 Lower Long gets 4 Stars
The new 35 Lower Long is an elegant 24-storey tower designed by DHK Architects and developed by owners, Abland and Ellerine Bros, on Cape Town’s Foreshore precinct. With Solid Green as sustainability consultants, the project received a 4-star Green Star Design certification after Round 1 in December 2018.
