Energy Efficiency: the way forward for Nigeria
On 29 August 2017, Nigeria’s first Building Energy Efficiency Code (BEEC) was officially launched in Abuja by the Federal Minister for Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN). Solid Green was commissioned as technical consultant on the project, and Director, Chilufya Lombe, spoke at the launch event.

Green Building in West Africa
Rapid urbanisation in most of sub-Saharan Africa has created a substantial need for infrastructure and energy efficiency. Solid Green is excited to be involved in meeting this need, having been appointed to assist the Federal Republic of Nigeria in developing a Nigerian Building Energy Efficiency code by April 2017.
