Thato Molapo was born and raised in Vereeniging. He is a nature enthusiast who loves to laugh and is passionate about learning new things. Thato has a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pretoria and studied mechanical engineering because of his passion for problem solving and the broad nature of the discipline. Since graduating Thato has worked as a project manager and engineer within the financial training and HVAC industries respectively.

As a young person working in the field of sustainability, Thato believes it is important for us to act and take responsibility for our future. In his role at Solid Green as Modelling & Simulation Consultant, he is contributing to the advancement of the built environment through high-performance building solutions and innovation.
